Hello! Will the russian language pack version v2.0.12-hotfix.5 work with Enderal v2.1.4? Thank you for your work!

Yes.

Language strings (interface, dialogs) are usually specific to every new version and supplied with the mod itself.

The language packs contain barely ever changing translated textures and videos, and an INI switching language in the mod. This means, it is possible to switch language only by editing Enderal - Forgotten Stories.ini, but you won't have translated posters, for example.

Thank you! BTW, I don't think anyone knows the game better than the developer, so I wanted to ask if you think any of the playstyles/skills/classes are unbalanced or too weak at the moment? I've heard that alchemy in Enderal is weak if you play without lycanthropy, so it would be interesting to know, because I'm going to play for the first time and don't want to run into a combination that will be completely ineffective.

I am not the developer, I'm a developer, I stepped in very late in the game. See Credits for the list of developers.

As to alchemy, this notion comes from the fact that alchemy did not exist in Enderal as a coherent system up until the 2.1.4 update this year. It was a hodgepodge of grandfathered ingredients, unfinished overhauls, ad-hoc edits and Forgotten Stories additions. The alchemy system has been reworked in 2.1.4 and is now generally more potent, see changelog.
Hello, i know you are not responsible for Enderal Gameplay Overhaul, but i love your work so i'll ask here too.

Is there any way to make the latest version work with EGO SE? The scripts got broken and there is no feasible way to reduce arcane fever since any method i try only reduces it by -0.0% to 50% (for example).

The only thing that still works for some reason is the peaceweed pipe's 1% reduction, bu that is hardly convinient.

Is there a console command or a bat file or anything that can help me manage arcane fever manually?

I would put ambrosia in a random container or something and then use the command to mimic the gameplay.

Thanks a million.

EGO is a very intrusive mod and should not be used with a proper update.

Arcane Fever is stored in the LastFlattered actor value. It is stored as a negative number, which means 10% is -10, 50% is -50.

To reset Arcane Fever, you can modify this value to made it equal zero. When, for example, your Arcane Fever is 70%, run
player.modav lastflattered 70
(setav will not work as you expect, use modav)
May be i have some ambient sounds bug, sometime ambient sound didnt stopped , meaning is that after teleport from canyon, Im still hear the wind in the city
It can be fixed by reload the save. i have Enderal SE 2.1.4 and the latest skyrim steam version
Sorry for my poor english,Is there any solutions?

The last version posted on Steam is 2.0.12.4, released in 2022, not 2.1.4.
You are probably talking about the ambient sound getting stuck after teleporting from the Island of Kor. It is an old known issue which has not been fixed yet. And yes, it disappears for good after reloading a save which makes it harder to pinpoint.

thank you for answer me,but i mean im using the latest skyrim steam version as base, not the standalone from steam. Anyway thank you for answer .
Hey! Uncertain whether this is a bug or not; it's a minor issue regardless. I was snooping around in the game's audio files and I found lines for both Jespar and Calia reacting to a phasmalist player. I've played a phasmalist more than once, summoned my apparition in front of these two countless times and I've never been able to trigger these lines. I also found lines for friendly fire that I've never heard in-game (I've heard Tharaêl's, but never Jespar's). Am I simply missing something or are they not firing for some reason? I'm playing the latest version with no mods.
Many thanks for the help and for keeping Enderal alive and healthy!

All lines were recorded way before I stepped in, I need to know the file names to answer your question.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think these are all of them. I've included a few more that I don't think I've heard in-game either. There's also lines of them reacting to a lycanthrope, but since I've never played as one I don't know whether or not those are working as intended. I also didn't check the other companions, I'm not that far ahead in my playthrough.

Thank you.
The friendly fire and near death lines were removed, since there is probably no point in being so dramatic so often when they won't die anyway.
The phasmalism lines are there, and I will check for the next patch if they work or need fixing.

Ah, I see. I can understand the reasoning with the near death lines, they are pretty dramatic, but I find it a shame the friendly fire ones have also been removed - sometimes it's useful to know when you're accidentally roasting a companion instead of the enemy. That and hearing Jespar good-naturedly ask if we've had too much peaceweed was amusing, especially in comparison to other companions' less forgiving remarks.
Thank you again for your dedication.
