I have had this issue myself ... the only way i could fix it was by not allowing the voice dialogue to finish by clicking the mouse button to make it go faster. also check to see if you are close to lvl up, if the lvl up and the end of dialogue coincide then the whole thing just locks up. i had it at the end of one the early sun temple missioins when the master tries to give you something and i discovered by chance that this created a level up at the same time. this is the only way i found to fix this issue, I have had so many issues with this game that i dont play it anymore.
