Enderal SE
> can I deinstall this now?
Yes. For the GOG Skyrim, you'll need an additional registry fix, because the launcher checks for installed Skyrim.
> I get the regular Skyrim display settings menu
This is correct. SureAI never contributed the launcher to Enderal SE, it is still closed source and is exclusive to Steam/GOG installations.
> I get an MO2 pop-up stating "mod organizer is waiting on an application to close before exiting". Is this correct?
Yes. The installer sets up a portable MO2 instance and runs Enderal SE through it to keep your configuration separate from Skyrim.
> Finally, when opening and playing the game, I notice SkyUI is not working.
SkyUI is a third-party mod which is not a part of Enderal SE and can't be properly supported (for example, widescreen issues have nothing to do with Enderal). It is pre-installed on Steam/GOG because prior to version 2.0.12 it was a hard requirement. Since 2.0.12 SkyUI is optional, you can install it by yourself from Nexus.

Are there any other mods I should be aware of to instal alongside the webinstaller?

GOG/Steam are based on 2.0.12.4, so theoretically new users can _remove_ SkyUI if they want. There is just no point in removing pre-installed mods because this would break ongoing games. And Enderal players are used to SkyUI anyway.

Yes

SKSE is the only hard requirement for Enderal SE, and the web installer already pre-installed it for you. You can check out my recommended optionals - these are the mods eligible for vanilla game support. Beyond that, install anything you want on your own accord.

I've played a ton of Enderal a few years ago but never got around to finish it, so I'm really looking forward to it.
I'll check out the recommended optionals, I assume I need to be aware if they are compatible with the newest Skyrim SE version.

- Address Library is included with Enderal SE
I don't think they have other requirements.
