Wow I didn't expect you to reply so soon :D I was gonna make my other post right away but couldn't alt tab so I kept playing... Anyways, basically if I opened the menu with the books and pressed esc, then esc again to open the pause menu, all the options would be grey and could not be interacted with, and after saving it would persist unless you use an earlier save. It's some sort of MCM bug though I didn't have it happen with any of the other menus I have (like the just mods one). With the optional patch everything goes back to normal and affected saves are fine again. Thanks for the mod, I'm never gonna uninstal it
