Piber's Unofficial Patch
Vanilla UI Changes
v0.4:
- Made the recolorable cursor outline darker.
- Made the effect desc card in the weapon mod menu copy the visibility of the mod description so it only shows up when a mod is moused over and to improve compatibility with ui mods that hide the mod description.
v0.3:
- Made pause screen background recolorable.
- Weapon mod description is now right-justified, to match how the regular inventory effects label looks.
- Slightly widened available space for pip-boy stat page effect titles.
- Added word wrapping to pip-boy stat page effect titles and info.
- Increased the height of elements in the pip-boy stat page effect list. (Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to dynamically scale this based on the amount of lines in the element, and how to change the amount of elements that are visible. I suspect that this list is hard-coded by the game, as the regular methods didn't work.)
- Downscaled the pip-boy stat page effect description text, and repositioned it assuming in most cases it would wrap to two lines.
- Realigned repair menu card info to instead be 1 card size higher, for consistency with new weapon mod menu.
- Thinned card info in repair menu and weapon mod menu to not clip into inventory list.
- Shifted recipe ingredients list slightly further to the left and up to appear offset the same way the skill requirement is.
- Forced the repair button in the inventory menu to only be visible if the weapons or apparel tab is open.
- Forced the mod button in the inventory menu to only be visible if the weapons tab is open.
- Button prompts in inventory menu will now shift position based on what buttons are visible.
- Forced use and hotkey button prompt in inventory menu to be hidden in the misc item tab.
- Realigned button prompts in repair and weapon mod menus to line up with the inventory menu.
- Restored A button prompt in repair and weapon mod menus that were previously only visible on xbox, now set to be visible if the player is using a controller.
- Added missing alpha values to inventory weapon mod and hotkey prompts to match the other button prompts.
- Forced recipe menu lists to always have player inventory selected and ingredients list never selected as scrolling through ingredients appears to be broken and janky. Set _allowXbox to 1 in recipe_menu.xml if you want to bring it back. (if you fix it, tell me how!)
v0.2:
- Applied hudmain color to elements of the loading screen that should be recolored
- Applied hummain color to many elements of the main menu/pause menu that should be recolored
- Modified unused cursor to be more grayscale and brightened. For use with YSI's cursor recoloring option.
- Added optional that modifies the textures of the interface to have straighter corners, like Fallout 3. It's not a port, it's an edit of and retains most details which New Vegas adds or changes.
- Added optional for use with Mod Configuration Menu. Currently only colors the pause menu.
- Made weapon mod description wrap a little sooner.
- UI edits are now loose files due to some edits not loading for some reason. Put this high up in MO2 so other UI mods can replace it.
- Applied properties to map markers to allow them to use higher resolution textures and scale correctly.
v0.1:
- Swapped change healing button in player stats menu with doctor's bag button, so without a controller there's no gap.
- Removed "Made at..." label in the recipe menu, replaced it with the name of the crafting station and moved everything else up.
- Added missing lines at the top right of the recipe menu for consistency with container menu.
- Changed font used for headers in the right pane of the recipe menu to save some space, and condensed the info together a bit.
- Fixed alignment of the bottom lines in the right pane of the recipe menu, and moved them for consistency with container menu.
- Shifted button prompts to the right a bit in the recipe menu for consistency with the container menu.
- Shifted item card info up and to the right a bit in the recipe menu for consistency with the container menu.
- Fixed ingredient list in recipe menu making very loud sounds when moused over and generally being jank. Might introduce its own set of problems though.
- Fixed item stats bracket for STR being visible when no item is selected.
- Added properties to pip-boy icons in the stats tab to allow larger icons to be scaled down.
- Offset lists downward in pip-boy stat pages to be centered better.
- Widened misc stat page list.
- Moved misc stat page list to be consistent with the rest of the lists.
- Moved item icon in repair menu to line up with the regular inventory menu.
- Moved and widened card info in repair menu to line up with the regular inventory.
- Added missing lines at the top right of the weapon mod menu for consistency with the repair menu.
