Yes, it works retroactively.

Pre-Requisite:
  1. Read and Install JIP LN NVSE Plugin
Installation:
  1. Install with MO2
  2. This doesn't work with Charisma Tweak NVSE due to a hook conflict, I've notified the author, but wont ever be fixed
Usage:
  1. Run
  2. Press Left Control (Crouch key)
  3. Slide forward knocking down the enemies/friends
Uninstallation:
Delete from MO2
