Description
Welcome to Leethelm - Small Touches, a lovingly crafted mod that breathes new life into Windhelm, the ancient seat of Skyrim’s Stormcloak rebellion, with subtle yet impactful touches. This mod enhances the city with small, lore-accurate additions that deepen its atmosphere and pay homage to its rich history and diverse inhabitants. From the imposing gates to the bustling market, Leethelm transforms Windhelm into a city that feels more connected to its Nordic roots and Dunmer heritage, all while maintaining its rugged, frost-kissed charm.

  • Ysgramor Statue at the Palace of the Kings: A towering statue of Ysgramor, the legendary founder of the Companions, now stands proudly in front of the Palace of the Kings. This monument serves as a bold reminder of Windhelm’s Nordic legacy, inspiring all who pass beneath its gaze.
  • Dark Elf Shrines at New Gnisis Cornerclub: The Dunmer community in Windhelm’s Gray Quarter is honored with three sacred shrines dedicated to Boethiah, Mephala, and Azura, placed reverently in front of the New Gnisis Cornerclub. These shrines add a touch of cultural depth, reflecting the resilience and faith of the city’s Dark Elf residents.
  • Trees at the Entrance and Market: Windhelm’s harsh climate is softened by the addition of hardy, frost-resistant trees at the city’s entrance and bustling market. These trees bring a hint of natural beauty to the stone-clad capital, making your arrival and market visits feel more vibrant and welcoming.

Leethelm is designed to be lightweight and performance-friendly, ensuring smooth exploration of Windhelm’s snowy streets. Each addition is carefully placed to enhance the city’s existing layout, creating an immersive experience that feels like a natural extension of Skyrim’s lore. Whether you’re rallying with the Stormcloaks, exploring the Gray Quarter, or simply braving the city’s chill, Leethelm invites you to experience a Windhelm that’s richer, more authentic, and brimming with subtle beauty. Draw your cloak tight and step into a city reborn!

Compatibility
Leethelm is crafted to work smoothly with most Skyrim setups, but a few notes apply:
  • Navmesh Edits: Leethelm includes navmesh edits to ensure seamless integration of its additions. Mods that also alter Windhelm’s navmesh may require a patch to avoid conflicts. Feel free to create and upload your own patches (with Leethelm as a requirement) or send me the patch file to host on this page!
  • Confirmed Compatible Mods: Leethelm plays nicely with Spaghetti’s Cities AIO and Spaghetti’s Windhelm, letting you enjoy both mods’ enhancements without issue.
  • I’m eagerly awaiting user feedback on compatibility with other mods! If you encounter issues or create a patch, please share your insights in the comments.
  • While I won’t be creating patches myself (to focus on bringing more cities to life!), I warmly encourage the community to craft and share patches to make Leethelm accessible to all.
Let’s collaborate to keep Windhelm thriving in every modded setup!
